Lynn works with soul-driven entrepreneurs to create a living from who they are so they can access the power of their natural gifts and purpose to make a bigger contribution and make a living while doing it. You can find her site at MyCreativeCatalyst and also LynnReadsFaces
Lynn says, “basically, I teach renaissance souls how to gain clarity on their purpose by remembering who they are from their essential self, then aligning everything they do to express their unique gift through their business while working with natural energies for maximum support. Simply, it is my life’s work – it is who I am.”
What’s your why? Why did you start your business?
I know I’m successful by the degree of positive transformation that I facilitate in, for, with and through the people around me – that has compelled me to do what I do every day since I started my business in 1998. My motivation for starting my business was / is to help people have the awareness and the tools to create what they want intentionally and proactively.
What has been of the greatest help for you building your business so far?
That is a two-part answer: 1) listening to my own knowingness and 2) investing in expertise and education to take me to new levels of proficiency.
Are there any tools, techniques, resources etc… that you have used that have been helpful to you?
I have had many teachers who have given me what I needed for my next step up in my business, and I continue to look for my next mentor as the growth opportunity arises. In terms of specific tools, I would have to say that internet marketing, including videos, has been the key to leveraging my visibility to a global audience.
What’s been the biggest challenge so far?
The biggest challenge for me has been to make sure that I’m working on the most important thing in the moment vs. all the other urgencies that need attention at the same time. The gift that came from that is that I have learned to prioritize my day effectively to make the most use of my time given my current projects and desires.
What keeps you going?
My amazing clients who experience new vistas as a result of our work together; even better is when they tell me about it!
What’s your favorite quote/s to live and work by?
I collect quotes, so I have a TON of them! Here are a few of my recent favs:
“Business more than any other occupation is a continual dealing with the future; it is a continual calculation, an instinctive exercise in foresight.” ~ Henry R. Luce
“The universe always lets you experience your imagination, whatever it may be.” ~ David Cameron Gikandi
“We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about.”
— Charles Kingsley
“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea.” ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Do you have any favorite books on business and/or personal development?
It’s all about personal development – as we evolve, so can our businesses! These teachers give us their best thoughts in these wonderful bite-sized pieces called books. There’s so many, but off the top of my head, I’d say… Anatomy of Spirit by Carolyn Myss, The Lens of Perception, The New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. There’s SO many more – and I recommend particular ones to my clients as apply or seem ‘right’.
Do you have any favorite web sites for business and/or personal development?
The way I do business and live my life is probably not ‘normal’, so the sites I rely on are places like: www.creativenumerology.com, www.astrologyzone.com, and, of course, www.secretsofhersuccess.com.
What words of wisdom could you offer a business owner on their way to their dreams?
Keep going!!!! If you are in alignment with who you are and offering your gifts in service to the world, it is your responsibility to keep going despite circumstances, relationships and environment. Pay attention to your cues and clues, know what you know, and go for it! Live, work and play without regrets!
What’s your dream?
For soul-driven entrepreneurs in spirit to know their true calling and successfully express and enjoy it as their purpose manifest through business.
What do you think is the secret to success?
Knowing and evolving yourself continually… we are here as physical representation of divine consciousness. Our greatest purpose is to go for it and really live to the full extent of our capabilities in contribution to the greater whole (both to the human race and to divine consciousness). If we aren’t connected to source energy, get hung up on the “details” of daily life and stop growing, we are limiting our experience and not completing the cycle of being here for our specific reason. As a soul-driven entrepreneur, the big secret is that our unique reason for being expresses through our business, and our business grows to the extent that we do.
Fill in the Blanks (in regard to business):
Whatever you DO: know what you know and follow that with your full commitment, whatever that means and wherever it takes you – it’s all part of living your purpose.
Whatever you do, DO NOT: take it too seriously. It’s all a reflection of what’s happening in your internal world so if you are living lightly, you allow the flow to happen naturally.
Anything else that you would like to share that may be helpful knowledge to anyone reading this:
It’s not necessarily easy to walk your talk and live into your purpose manifest – it takes courage, commitment, candor and a lot of it you cannot possibly predict in advance. If someone would have told me that it would take more than a decade to get where I am now, with all that entailed in the moment, I would have done it anyway. But I would have known to look for the lessons in the hard times, reduce my resistance to learning them, and hired people to help me a lot sooner.

As an authority on creating change proactively and maximizing opportunities, it is my honor to help soul-driven entrepreneurs get really clear on accessing their truth and tapping into their power so their business reflects their unique gifts, skills, talents, experience and expertise for the betterment of our world. By definition, a catalyst provokes significant change. As a catalyst, I infuse energy into situations to get things unstuck and moving – change likes speed, and intentional change needs to move evenfaster to experience the positive outcomes most entrepreneurs want in their businesses.
As a business intuitive, I help people understand how to infuse potential with intentional action, grow their business through organization, strategy and systems while paying attention to what matters – their spirit. Speaking both “woo-woo” and the language of business, I blend both to help people get to their next level quickly, and, usually, with dramatic results.
